Connie Kartoz, PhD, RN, FNP-BC is a family nurse practitioner and Associate Professor at The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ. She received her BSN from the University of Pennsylvania, an MSN from Old Dominion University and her PhD from Seton Hall University, where she was a Robert Wood Johnson/New Jersey Nurse Initiative Scholar. She has experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner and in primary care, psychiatry and eating disorders, asthma, adolescent health and rheumatology. She is also an active nurse researcher in late life family relationships.
